Connecticut lyric soprano Michelle Murray Fiertek possesses a wide ranging repertoire for the concert stage. Her dramatically powerful approach to the performance of vocal music has earned her both critical and popular acclaim. Her singing has been described as “Exemplary” (BBC Music Magazine), “First-rate. Engaging and authentic” (New York Concert Review), and “Alive and full-blooded” (Arizona Republic).
In addition to performing, Michelle is a passionate teacher and she maintains a thriving private studio in addition to classroom teaching. Currently Michelle teaches for The Hartt School, University of Hartford in West Hartford, CT, Naugatuck Valley Community College in Waterbury, CT, and the Greater Hartford Academy of the Arts in Hartford, CT.
